What is collected
When you join early access, Setern collects:
- your email address;
- whether you identify as a lifter, coach, or gym representative;
- your consent to receive private-testing and launch updates;
- submission details needed to operate and protect the form, such as time of submission and technical data processed by the hosting provider.
The current website does not collect workout history, health data, payment data, or account passwords. It also does not currently use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
Why it is used
Your email, role, and consent record are used to manage the early-access list, invite suitable people to private testing, and send meaningful product or launch updates.
The legal basis for those emails is your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by using an unsubscribe option in a future email or by contacting contact@setern.com.
Limited technical information may also be processed where necessary to prevent spam, secure the website, and investigate abuse. That processing is based on the legitimate interest in operating a safe and reliable website.
Setern does not sell early-access data and does not use it for unrelated advertising or automated decision-making.
Service providers
The website is hosted by Netlify, and Netlify Forms processes early-access submissions on Setern’s behalf. Netlify may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area and describes the safeguards it uses for international transfers in its privacy and data-processing documentation.
Read Netlify’s privacy statement and GDPR information.
How long it is kept
Early-access data is kept until you withdraw consent or for up to 24 months after your last interaction with the early-access programme, whichever comes first. It may be retained longer only where required to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Send requests to contact@setern.com. Setern may need to verify that the request comes from the owner of the email address.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection or another competent supervisory authority.
Children
The early-access list is not intended for children under 16. Setern does not knowingly collect early-access information from children under 16.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the website’s data practices change. Material changes will be reflected by a new date at the top of this page. A separate, more detailed policy will be published before the Setern app handles public user accounts or training data.
